Strategic partnership will boost the group’s business units for optimized corporate, government and consumer travel
Amadeus and Seera, one of the largest travel providers for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region (previously known as Al Tayyar Travel Group), announce the strengthening of their long-standing strategic partnership which will see the two leading travel industry players elevate the KSA travel market through technology innovation and growth.
As part of the renewed agreement, Amadeus has been selected as Seera’s technology partner for another year to further support the group’s objectives in the Middle East. With over 30 years’ experience in providing travel technology solutions and helping clients to optimize their business, Amadeus is set to assist Seera in growing its business even further with expansion plans for their omni-channel consumer travel brand, Almosafer, across KSA and Kuwait. Amadeus will also support Seera’s travel management company, elaa, in its ambitions to digitalize the corporate travel experience in the Kingdom.
The partnership will provide Seera’s five business units with greater access to an unrivalled breadth of content, enabling Seera to better serve its clients in KSA and across the region. The Group will be implementing some of the latest Amadeus solutions to benefit from relevant hotel content, virtual credit card payment capabilities, fare optimization solutions and content via NDC (New Distribution Capability) connectivity. The partnership between the two companies has already enabled Seera to improve their online business, through improved efficiencies by 140%.
