Position Description

The Flights Product Manager will report into Product Owner and jointly be responsible for ideate & execute the product roadmap across Desktop, mobile web & Native APPs.

You will be part of a well-structured product team comprising of talented individuals with diverse backgrounds giving you a great learning platform. The product team is responsible for delivering revenue, conversion rate, bookings target with a customer first approach.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from various stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Provide input and guidance for UX/UI design and prototyping
  • Participate in various user and product research exercises / workshops
  • Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for Development and QA teams
  • Participate, drive, and deliver using the scrum software development methodology
  • Responsible for timely agile product delivery and continuous improvement of agile execution
  • Leading scrum ceremonies like Grooming sessions, Sprint retrospective, etc. to drive timely feature deliveries
  • Research/resolve issues and questions quickly and accurately as a subject matter expert
  • Document features/functionality for internal/external consumption, e.g., release notes
  • Use web and data analytics, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to prioritize and design products
  • Develop a framework for experimentation and optimization of new and existing features
  • Set up and run A/B and multivariate testing using tools like Google Optimize

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a customer-centric vision and is focused on solving customer and business problems
  • Has an agile mindset (scrum experience preferable); experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Has excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Is highly analytical and results driven; has experience with business ROI modeling, funnel analysis using Google Analytics, and experience setting up and running A/B/n tests for features
  • Can strongly contribute to UX/UI discussions

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Product teams in a B2C e-commerce organization
  • Degree qualification or equivalent in Computer Science, UX or similar
  • Working knowledge of SQL and other analytics tools like Google Analytics etc
  • Experience in travel e-commerce is a plus; experience with flights systems such as GDS (Amadeus, Travelport, Galileo, etc) a plus
